A woman with a plan

Creating a beautiful book takes time. And therefore requires a plan. So what will happen in the coming months?

  • This summer, I am going in search of the guinguettes and their stories. To smoothly process the information gathered and impressions gained, I plan to travel to France about three times between June and the end of September. I will leave the first time on June 4 !

  • During the trip, of course, I take pictures.

  • This summer I will begin writing. The texts will be ready by the end of 2024.

  • Visuals: Photographs are selected and illustrations created during and after the writing process.

  • The layout takes place during the winter months.

  • Printing: February 2025

  • The book will be available in March 2025, nicely in time for the Easter weekend, a long weekend in May (for the Flemish), the May vacation (for the Dutch) or a gift for mother's or father's day ;-)
